Alternative Venues West Midlands provides a variety of funding to Reserves and Cadets; be it additional funding for the estate, equipment or adventure training. With your help we hope to increase the funding we provide to our Reserves and cadets.

What is West Midland RFCA?

West Midland RFCA is one of 13 Associations in the United Kingdom that provide support to the Reserve and Cadet Forces by developing regional relationships with communities and employers. The Association has an influential and wide-ranging role. It is a regional civilian body comprising voluntary members, a volunteer Board, and a full-time secretariat. One of its

duties is to offer advice to the regional military commands on the Reserves and cadets.

Reservists and cadets are part of the local community in a way that the regular forces are not. They therefore need the support of an organisation whose people are familiar with, and prominent within, the community. Our voluntary members provide this local footprint throughout the West Midlands. Our members comprise serving and ex-military personnel, including senior representation from the three services regionally, as well as representation from many other sectors of society. Collectively, they provide a wealth of professional experience and advice across diverse areas such as financial and legal affairs, estate management, recruit marketing, employer support, education and youth matters and local governance.
